I believe I understand your definition of peace, and I am using a slightly different one. There are some tactics that do involve force, yet are often considered to be peaceful. For example, governments use force to provide the rule of law. So, would it be peaceful for a majority to use a democratic system to vote for a death penalty for apostates? Would it be peaceful for a majority to vote for subjugation of women? By your definition, that would not be peaceful. For purposes of this article, I'm calling that peaceful, although it would also be fascist, and unacceptable in my opinion. Dalen,
